Smile!
I went with my mom to get some stones from my Aunt Sharon's new place yesterday. Mom wants to use them to make some sort of rockbed for a miniature waterfall in the backyard or something like that. Those friggin' things were covered in spiders. Big, huge, nasty spiders. I mean huge.
Her sort of neighbor (He owns the house, but doesn't live there.) was there. We were standing in the back yard, talking about home renovation (Well, they were; I was just kind of standing there.), when someone said something that made me smile. I noticed neighbor-man glancing at me a couple of times in quick succession before he stopped in the middle of a sentence to tell me that I have a very pretty smile.
Later, mom asked if 'that old man' was flirting with me, but it was pretty clear to me that he really did just think I have a nice smile. Still, I do get told that I have a nice smile quite often, but only by men, usually older ones. (Well, my Aunt Nancy said she likes my smile, but she's my aunt, and my Aunt Su's friend mentioned my smile, but I never figured out if she was complimenting it or commenting on how much it looks like Aunt Su's and she's my Aunt Su's friend (read: kooky/offbeat and probably a hippie). They don't count.) What's the deal with that?
